MATCH REPORT
Runcorn Town moved three points clear at the top of West Cheshire League One after a 2-1 victory in the derby match at Halton.
Town went ahead after 15 minutes when Mark Toohey found Jon McEvoy on the right and his cross was deflected into his own net by the unlucky Stuart Iddon. The lead was doubled four minutes later when Marvin Molyneux's pass split the defence with Emini Adegbenro racing onto the ball before slotting past Neil Percival. The second half saw more Town pressure without really testing Percival, with Halton making it a nervous last few seconds by pulling a goal back in stoppage time when Paul King's cross from the right was turned in by Gary Tyrell.
