Danny joined the club at the start of the 2006/07 season, making his debut for the Reserves in the first game of the season at home to Capenhurst Villa Reserves.

His first team debut arrived just a week later, also against Capenhurst Villa, and he remained in the first team for some time, scoring his first goal in a 7-0 victory at home to Chester Nomads.

He is an attacking midfielder with an eye for goal who makes his presence known in games.

Danny was made Captain of the Reserves at the start of the 2008/09 season, but also managed to weigh in with ten appearances for the First Team. Last season he finally broke through to the First Team and was a vital member of the squad with his versitility, playing many games in an unorthodox left back role.

He has previously had experience at Everton, Crewe and Blackpool academies.
