Ged came through the youth team in our Mond Rangers days and won the Cheshire Youth Cup under manager John Gibson.

He then moved into the senior non-league scene when he moved to the then senior club in the town Runcorn before joining Warrington Town.He then joined Nantwich Town before returning to the club where his football career started.

Ged is a commanding centre forward who holds the ball up very well. His passing ability is equally as good which sometimes leads to his making appearances on either the left or right wing.

Despite the number of times played out wide, his goalscoring record remains very good. In fact since the formation of Runcorn Town in 2005 to the start of the 2009/10 season, Ged held the records for most appearances and most goals scored.
