Dean is a box to box midfielder who captained the youth team in the 2005/06 season and also started in Town Reserves' first ever game against FC Pensby.

He suffered a bad injury whilst representing Cheshire, which forced him to miss the Altrincham Youth League cup win.

He did however make a successful return to football and played numerous games for the first and second teams before being coaxed into trying his luck at NWC league Congleton Town.

He then moved to Halton F.C and latterly Helsby but following a spell coaching in China has now rejoined Town, his first senior club.
