Carl signed in time to make his debut in the home draw with Ashville Reserves on 27th December 2008, and although not the tallest he is a commanding keeper with good hands and a good kick.

Carl is a promising young goalkeeper and will provide adequate back up when called upon to deputise between the sticks for the first team he came highly recomended and after deciding to leave Prescot Cables due to a lack of opportunities. he is still very ambitious and has hopes of breaking into the 1st team given the right opportunities.

In fact he made his 1st team debut in the 2-1 reversal at the hands of Liverpool County F.A. in which he did himself no harm with a confident display. Carl has really established himself at the club becoming the reserve team number 1.
