Clint signed at the start of the 2008/09 season after being out of football for 18 months. Clint was with Liverpool as a trainee but was unfortunately released, going onto play for Greenalls and Warrington Town.

He scored two goals in his first three games for the club including one on his debut against Ellesmere Port, but left soon after to play for Monks Sports. Returned to Town in November 2009.
