Dave signed for the club at the start of the 2007/08 season, making his debut in September 2007 at Hale.

He is a quick player who loves to get into space and run at defenders. Operated mainly in midfield but was moved further forward and has a healthy goalscoring record at the club.

His first goals came in his second game at home to Capenhurst Villa Reserves where he scored two in an 8-0 win. He has scored frequently ever since averaging one goal every three games to the end of the 2008/09 season.

He made his debut for the first team from the bench at Newton in the Cheshire Amateur Cup in October 2007.
