David has progressed through the club from its successful youth team and made his debut away at Heswall Reserves in September 2005.

Made his first start a month later at home to Ashville Reserves and has been a virtual ever present since. Established himself initially as a right back but has moved recently to play as a central defender

He is a quick defender who relishes a strong tackle and also loves to use his pace to get forward.

David holds the appearance record for Runcorn Town having appeared in over 130 matches. Despite this he has only scored two goals for the club, his first being a stunning solo run and shot against eventual champions FC Pensby in October 2008.

Made his first team debut from the bench at home to Maghull in April 2006 and his first start for the first team at Capenhurst Villa in March 2007.
