Struggling Maghull produced the shock of the day in West Cheshire League One with a 2-1 win over Town at Pavilions. The Merseysiders, who had lost eight of their last nine league games, scored twice in the second half as they came from behind to pick up three points which moves them out of the bottom two.
Meanwhile in West Cheshire League Three, Mersey Royal put an end to Town Reserves' six game winning streak with Robbie Darlington getting Town's only goal of the game.
