TOWN HIT FIVE AT ATHERTON

Runcorn Town kept up the pressure at the top of the North West Counites Premier Division with a comfortable five goal victory at Atherton LR.

Mark Keddie opened the scoring for Town, and skipper Steve Latham sent Town in at half time two goals to the good.

Further second half strikes from James McShane, Paul Shanley and Jason Carey completed the scoring in the game.
