BURTON SWOOPS FOR PEARSON

Runcorn Town have boosted their striking options after swooping to sign striker Liam Pearson from Evo-Stik League North side Prescot Cables.

The forward, who started his career as a youth team player at Conference side Altrincham, has scored eight goals this season for a Prescot side who lie in 20th place in the Evo-Stik.

He signed for them in March from our fellow North West Counties League side St Helens Town for whom he was leading scorer last season managing 24 goals.
