TOWN BEGIN VASE CAMPAIGN IN YORKSHIRE
Runcorn Town will begin this season's FA Vase campaign with an away trip to Northern Counties East First Division side Glasshoughton Welfare.

Glasshoughton, based just outside Castleford, are third in their league which is the equivilent league to the North West Counties First Division, and they have lost just once in the league this season.

They have also had some decent cup results so far. They bowed out of the FA Cup to Evo-Stik League side Ossett Town after taking them to a replay, and have had two good results in the Vase against Bottesford Town and AFC Emley, winning 6-0 and 2-0 at home.

The game will take place on Saturday 19th November, kick off 3.00pm.

Other games see an all NWCL clash as Squires Gate host Winsford United, whilst Glossop North End and Bacup Borough face long trips to the North East to face Billingham Town and West Auckland Town respectively.

Ramsbottom United are also up in the North East against Guisborough Town or Consett AFC, whilst the remaining NWCL sides all have home ties.

Padiham will be happy with a home tie against Askern Villa, whilst Norton United will play Ellesmere Rangers. Barnoldswick Town have a tough home tie against Spennymoor Town.

West Cheshire League side Ashville, who we have played numerous times over the years, have a home tie against Staveley Miners Welfare, whilst holders Whitley Bay take on Tadcaster Albion at home.
