TOWN ROMP TO FIRST WIN
Runcorn Town romped to their first victory in the Premier Division of the North West Counties League with a 6-1 victory at Bacup Borough.

Town, who have enjoyed the biggest away victory in their league in each of the last four seasons, were 2-0 up at half time through a Mark McGrath double.

James McShane's third after 48 minutes sealed the game with Jason Carey adding a fourth just after the hour. Goals from substitutes Graeme Mitchell and Ryan Malone late on made it 6-0 with Daniel Cocks grabbing a consolation goal for Bacup.
