TOWN ROMP TO BIGGEST WIN Runcorn Town romped to their biggest win on the season on Saturday as they consolidated top spot in the West Cheshire League with an 8-0 demolition of Ashville.
James McShane opened the scoring with a left foot shot before Kyle Hamid's free kick doubled the lead on the half hour. A quick double from McShane before half time ensured it was 4-0 at the break with the forward completing a "perfect" hat-trick after hitting the third with his right and his fourth being a header. Dolan made it five with a shot from 25-yards, with Hamid breaking clear to score the sixth. Ian Robinson then scored with a great solo effort with Simon Burton grabbing the eighth with a spectacular volley five minutes from time. Meanwhile the reserves also collected three points after a 2-1 win at Shaftesbury, with the result keeping them second in West Cheshire Three. Danny Cummins and Kyle Mayers were on target, with Matt Hardy grabbing Shaftesbury's only goal.
