MORE JUNIOR TEAMS / AGM NEWS

The growth of Runcorn Town will continue next season with the addition of more teams to the Junior section of the club.

When the decision was made 12 months ago to add a junior arm to the club, only one team was formed as it was a step into the unknown for all of us.

A year on and the whole committee is delighted with the progress made, with at least one more team being formed from the start of the 2011/12 season.

Runcorn Town Under 9's will defintely be joining the Halton & District Junior League, with an Under 8's and Under 10's also looking likely.

Any interested players who qualify for these teams should contact Linda Young on 07538 643310. These will be those entering school years 3, 4 and 5 in September 2011.

Earlier, at the clubs AGM, all officials of the club were re-elected for the forthcoming season, whilst we welcome Jason Bate and Mike Mainwairing to the club with both joining as new committee members.
