TOWN TO TRAVEL OVER 1600 MILES
Runcorn Town will be travelling over 1,600 miles next season after securing promotion to the North West Counties League Premier Division.

The mileage is an increase of over 300 miles on last season although this is due to the fact that there are an additional four teams in the league we are moving into. The average trip is actually 0.6 miles less than it was last season.

The longest journey we will face is the 139 mile round trip to Sildsen in Yorkshire, followed by the games at AFC Blackpool (126 miles), Squires Gate (125.4 miles) and Barnoldswick Town (124.8 miles).

The shortest journey is the 9.2 mile round trip to Runcorn Linnets with Winsford United (37.8 miles) the next furthest.

The full list of travelling distances (as taken from Google) is as follows:

* Table based on Rossendale United being reprieved in Premier Division which has yet to be confirmed.
