TOWN END HOME SEASON WITH WIN
Runcorn Town finished their home league fixtures in Vodkat League Division One in style as they condemned Wigan Robin Park to their heaviest ever defeat with a 5-0 win.

Town blitzed their visitors with four goals in the opening 33 mins of a half which really could have been a lot worse for the visitors with better finishing.

James McShane opened the scoring after nine minutes with his 41st goal of the season, with Darren Kinsey finally getting his name on the scoresheet six minutes later with his first goal for the club.

A Jason Carey double after 27 and 33 minutes put Town firmly in control, with the last goal not arriving til eight minutes from time when Emini Adegbenro fired in a low shot to complete the scoring.

Town's home season in the league has been one to remember, with just three points dropped in the home loss to Holker Old Boys. Every other team in the league has left Pavilions pointless, with the home form instrumental in a first time promotion. Thank you for your support.
