TOWN PROMOTED TO VODKAT PREMIER

Runcorn Town will be playing Vodkat Premier League football next season after securing a second successive promotion with a 2-0 victory over Chadderton.

Jason Carey grabbed the first goal just a minute before the break with a header from Ste Latham's cross. Leading scorer James McShane secured the points seven minutes into the second half, reacting quickest in the box to smash the ball into the net after the keeper had saved Latham's initial shot.
