WHITCHURCH AWAIT IN DIVISIONAL CUP

Runcorn Town Reserves will travel to Whitchurch Alport in the Semi Finals of the Cheshire League's Division Two Trophy after they won 2-1 at Maine Road Reserves in today's Quarter Final.

The game has been scheduled for next Saturday afternoon, kick off 1.30pm, with the tie played to a conclusion on the day. The league game at Grappenhall Sports will be played later in the season.

Town will travel to Whitchurch in confident mood having overcome Malpas 4-1 in the Quarter Finals this week, but Whitchurch will be confident themselves having already beaten Town this season when two goals in the first six minutes put them on the way to a 2-1 win at Pavilions back in August.
