Runcorn Town romped to their biggest home win in the Vodkat League with a 9-1 victory over Daisy Hill at Pavilions.
Town went ahead after 12 minutes with James McShane doing well on the right before pulling the ball across to Ian Robinson whose on-target shot was deflected to give the keeper no chance.
Jason Carey doubled the lead after 22 minutes with a deft chip from the edge of the box after capitalising on a poor clearance from the defence with McShane making it three five minutes later after beating the offiside trap and rounding the keeper before finishing from close range.
McShane also made it four after 40 minutes after running onto Marvin Molyneux's through ball and getting to the ball before the keeper to poke the ball into the empty net.
After scoring twice on EIGHT occassions this season, McShane finally got that elusive hat-trick three minutes later when he found the bottom left hand with a left footed shot from inside the six yard box after good work by Carey.
Town's sixth arrived after 61 minutes with Carey capitalising on some poor defending to round the keeper and slot home, with Connor Anderson making it seven after 74 minutes. Carey was put through by McShane with Daisy Hill's keeper making a fine save, but Anderson was on hand to gather the rebound before scoring.
Daisy Hill pulled one back after 72 minutes through Daniel Gregory after Ste Latham's misplaced back header fell short of Karl Wills, with Gregory slotting past the unfortunate Town keeper, however Warren Bellew restored the seven goal cushion after 83 minutes when he raced onto Mark McGrath's through ball and found the corner of the net.
It was McGrath who rounded off the scoring for Town in the last minute with the goal of the game after he set off on a mazy run from midfield into the box before rounding the keeper and finding the corner.
