Three late goals from West Kirby saw Runcorn Town slip to fourth place in West Cheshire One, with the game turned by a sending off to Towns' Shaun Tierney.
Goals from Will Dolan and Ryan Wade put Town 2-0 up just after half time, with the home side squandering three further goal scoring chances which would probably have finished off West Kirby. A clash on the halfway line then resulted in a booking for a West Kirby player, with Tierney - who was not involved in the clash - shown a second yellow.
The decision completely changed the game and goals in the 79th, 85th and 89th minute presented victory to the visitors with Paul Casey, Lee Gibson and Terry Cotgrave scoring.
Meanwhile the reserves capped a fine month with yet another high scoring performance in Division Three at Chester where they beat Upton Reserves 6-0. Peter Murphy hit a hat-trick with Anton Ellison and Craig Beech also on target (the other was an own goal), with the clean sheet giving manager Rod Looker as much pleasure as the goals at the other end.
