Runcorn Town and Billinge played out a competitive friendly at Pavilions this evening with Town running out 3-1 winners.
In a game featuring several triallists for Town, it was Billinge who went in at half time with a 1-0 lead with the home side missing several good chances to score.
Tony Wynne levelled for Town in the second half from Warren Bellew's cross, with Greg Byrne putting Town ahead when he brought down a cross, rounded a couple of defenders and found the net.
James McShane made it three for Town with a fine individual effort, with the game a good workout for Town after several postponements in recent weeks.
