The First Round clash in the Runcorn and District FA Saturday Cup between the Reserve sides of Runcorn Town and Runcorn Linnets will take place next Monday evening (7.30pm kick off) with the tie switched to Pavilions.
The game has twice been postponed at Linnets' Millbank Stadium because of the weather, with Runcorn FA deciding to switch the tie at a meeting on Monday evening. This is because the tie needs playing as soon as possible with the Quarter Finals of the competition are also due to take place at the start of February.
In other fixture news, the Reserve fixtures for February have been announced. Town will start the month with three successive away league games, all of which kick off at 2.00pm, at Whitchurch Alport (5th), Moore United (12th) and Grappenhall Sports (19th), although the Moore game will be off if we beat Linnets.
February finishes with a home tie against Crewe FC (3.00pm kick off) on Saturday 26th.
For the First Team, the Vodkat League game at Cheadle on Wednesday 9th March will now be the 2nd Round tie of the Division One Trophy, again at Cheadle.
The AFC Liverpool away game is also looking doubtful with AFC's landlords Prescot Cables reportedly arranging their Liverpool Senior Cup tie against Liverpool for that same night (1st Feb).
