WEEKEND GAMES ALL OFF

All of Runcorn Town's games this weekend have been called off due to snow.

The First Team game at Gornal Athletic is off after four inches of snow fell overnight. This game has now been rearranged for Saturday 8th January 2011, kick off 3.00pm replacing the Wigan Robin Park away game in the league.

Speaking of Wigan, the Vodkat League did leave on the home fixture today however this has been called off after about a foot of snow fell on the Pavilions pitch. We would like to thank both the Vodkat League and Wigan Robin Park for their co-operation in trying to get this fixture on.

The Reserves tie at Whitchurch Alport was called off last night with the Cheshire League calling off all games en-block. Their next game is not until 8th January when Malpas visit Town in the league.

The Youth team game at Runcorn Linnets and the Under 12's game at home to Woolton were also both been called off yesterday with Halton Borough Council calling off all games that were scheduled to take place on council pitches.
