FA VASE GAME CALLED OFF

Tomorrow's match between Gornal Athletic and Runcorn Town in the Third Round of the FA Carlsberg Vase has been postponed due to snow.

Snow earlier in the week covered the West Midlands with evening temperatures not above zero all week. Last night temperature was -9, with the game having no chance of going ahead.

The game has therefore been rescheduled for next Saturday, 11th December, with kick off at 3.00pm.

The draw for the Fourth Round is scheduled for Monday lunchtime, but if the entire Vase schedule is wiped out, it is likely that this could also be put back.
