Runcorn Town return to Vodkat League action for the first time in three weeks as they travel to Eccleshall in a Division One match (3.00pm kick off).
Eccleshall currently lie in 12th place in the league table having won two and lost four of their six home games so far. Victories have come against Rochdale Town and Holker Old Boys. Dwayne Spence is the main danger, having scored eight so far this season, with the next leading scorer back on two.
Town have won three of their five away games in the league at Oldham, Ashton and Daisy Hill, plus of course a further four out of four in various cup competitions. Town will be at full strength with the exception of Kyle Hamid (suspension) and Jason Carey (holiday).
Town Reserves have a big game at home at the same time, with Middlewich Town the visitors in the last 16 of the Cheshire Amateur Cup.
Middlewich are ninth in Cheshire League Division One, one league above Town, and go into the game as favourites. They are currently on a six match unbeaten run, and knocked out West Cheshire League One side Heswall 3-0 in the last round of the competition.
This season marks Town Reserves' debut in the competition, and they beat Grappenhall Sports 3-2 in the previous round.
Earlier in the morning, the Under 12's and the Youth team are in action against Pex Hill Rangers and Widnes Town Youth respectively.
The Under 12's kick things off on the day with a home tie against the side who have are currently second to bottom in the Halton & District League table.
Town lie in fifth place, and after the loss to Albright two weeks ago, they bounced back superbly last week with a 6-1 away win at Brookvale United, with Keiran Reid, Connor Lindsay and Will Buckley-Downes all scoring twice.
Kick off at Haddocks Wood in the Halton & District League is 10.30am.
The Youth team are looking to complete their first double of the season as they take on Widnes Town at St Chads School, with a Cameron Bradley goal earning Town a 1-0 win at Widnes in August.
They will also go into the game in confident mood having won their last two matches, with Alan Edwards and Declan Garavan stepping up to the Reserves last weekend after the Youth team game was off.
Kick off is at 11.00am.
