WARRINGTON EASE OUT TOWN ON PENS Runcorn Town lost their first cup game of the season on penalties after holding Evo-Stik League side Warrington Town to a 1-1 draw after extra time.Warrington had the better of the early chances with Dave Parkinson in good form for Town in between the posts, but Town gradually came into the game with nothing to separate the sides for much of the game. In front of 108 at Pavilions, Town took the lead with just four minutes of the game left when Danny Dalton rose to head in Kyle Hamid's free kick from the right. However with just under two minutes of the game remaining, Warrington equalised when a low cross from the right hit the unfortunate Marvin Molyneux and deflected past Parkinson for an own goal. Extra time failed to separate the two sides, and with Town missing their first two penalties, Warrington held out to take a place in the Quarter Finals with a 4-2 win.
