RESERVES PUT A DENT IN THE DENTON F.C. MARCH
Town reserves put an end to Denton Town's winning start to the season the visitors who arrived at Pavilions on Saturday having won eight, drawn one & lost none, so Town knew that even at this early stage in the season a win was essential if they were to stay in the hunt for promotion with there south Manchester opponents.

And win they did despite trailing from a first half Denton goal and losing both central midfielders before half time Mark McGrath & Mike Chesters both coming off through injuries, Chesters was taken by ambulance to Warrington General with a suspected broken leg but we are pleased to report the good news that he suffered severe bruising so shouldnt be out for too long.
Second half goals from the battling reserves defender Graven & striker Swales proved enough to put a dent in the Denton title charge and sealed all three points to keep the team firmly in the hunt at the top of the table.
