Runcorn Town bounced back from their first loss in 26 games on Wednesday evening by hitting seven past Blacon Youth Club at Pavilions.
Town went 1-0 down after ten minutes with Shaun Tierney equalising 15 minutes later, but a poor first half saw the teams go in at 1-1. Town turned on the style to go 5-1 up by the hour mark, with the final score ending up 7-2.
Meanwhile in another double header, Runcorn Town Reserves defeated Blacon Reserves 6-0 in Chester with Ged Bushell and Paul Angell grabbing two each and John Coady and Pete Murphy completing the scoring.
