CHEADLE TOWN AWAIT IN CUP

Runcorn Town will travel to Cheadle Town in the Second Round of the Vodkat League First Division Trophy after they won 3-2 at Abbey Hey in the First Round.

Town knew pre-season that they would be playing the winners of the above match when the draw was made at the AGM in May, with Town getting a bye.

In Saturday's match Cheadle added to a solitary first half goal from Andy Lindon with Daniel Brockenbrow and James McDonough making it 3-0 on the hour. A quick double from Jamie Dickinson ensured a tense finish, but Cheadle held on to progress.

The Second Round tie will be played on Saturday 27th November 2010, 3.00pm kick off.
