RESERVES MARCH ON IN CHESHIRE AMATEUR CUP Runcorn Town reserves made a winning Cheshire Amateur Cup debut on Saturday when travelling away to a strong Grappenhall Sports team, the team who had a few weeks ago inflicted Towns heaviest defeat when taking all three points when scoring five to Towns three in the process and who’s squad for this match was bolstered by the addition of Warrington Town starlet Tom Rutter, but it was to prove an eventfull afternoon for him when after going a goal behind Town's equaliser a shot from Mike Chesters went in off Rutter and further goals from Mark McGrath and Will Conway secured the win despite Grappenhall pulling a goal back late in the game.Click here for match report Posted at 17:23 on Monday 25th October 2010 - Viewed 376 times |
