RESERVES TOP LEAGUE AFTER WIN Runcorn Town Reserves moved to the top of Cheshire League Division Two for the first time after a 4-3 win over Barnton at Pavilions.Town fell behind after just a minute of the game, but Town soon came into it and after missing numerous chances, Scott Swales scored a deserved equaliser midway through the half. The second half saw Town come out in exposive fashion with Swales putting Town ahead two minutes into the half before completing his first hat-trick for the club two minutes later. Barnton pulled another back on the hour mark before Kev Hammond restored the two goal cushion from the spot. The visitors ensured it would be a tense last six minutes as they made it 4-3, but Town held on for a deserved win. Full report to follow...
