Runcorn Town's weekend games kick off this Saturday morning with the Under 12's playing their first Saturday game of the season when they entertain Brookvale United.
Brookvale have struggled at the start of the season and have picked up just one point so far in a 3-3 draw at home to JFC Pavilions Panthers. In their other three matches they have suffered heavy defeats, losing 14-0 on the opening day of the season to Heath Rangers, 9-3 to Inter Linnets and 8-0 to Woolton.
Tomorrow is their first away game of the season and kick off is 10.30am at Haddocks Wood.
Also kicking off at 10.30am is the Youth team who will be travelling to South Liverpool in the West Cheshire Youth League. South Liverpool have had a good start to the season and are in fifth place in the league having won five of their eight matches.
Last weekend though they lost 4-0 at Hale Youth, so hopefully we can catch them at a good time, particularly after our encouraging performance last weekend in our home game against Ellesmere Port JFC.
Into the afternoon and the Reserves are on the road this week as they travel to struggling Malpas in Cheshire League Division Two. The home side are still searching for their first win of the season having picked up just one point in their seven games so far.
Last weekend they were in Cheshire Amateur Cup action and lost 4-0 at home to West Cheshire Two side New Brighton, whilst Town had a confidence boosting 3-0 win at Congleton Town Reserves.
The First Team are also in action at 3.00pm and are also playing a bottom of the league team, this time a home match against Rochdale Town.
Rochdale are currently bottom of the Vodkat League and are also searching for their first win of the season from nine games played. Town will go into the match in confident mood having registered a superb victory at Parkgate in last weeks' FA Carlsberg Vase tie.
