TOWN RESERVES SECOND AWAY WIN ON THE BOUNCE
Town Res consolidated on a good away performance last week with a second successive away win at Congleton Town Res it was a solid all round performance from the team, and for the second week running both strikers got on the score sheet in the first half to open up a half time two nil lead, Tom Lupton grabbed the first to make it two in two starts for him in his favoured striker position, Scott Swales who is now settling in well and looking more dangerous with every game netted the second soon afterwards to steady the nerves and take his tally to four for the season and in the second half substitute Richie Hargreaves wayed in with the third curling in a delightful shot from the edge of the area to open his account for the club.
Whilst at the other end some sterling defending and a couple of good saves made the win especially pleasing because for the first time this season the team managed to keep the home side at bay to gain a clean sheet.
