TOWN HELD BY CHESHIRE LEAGUE

A Runcorn Town XI were held to an entertaining goalless draw by the Cheshire League representative side in last night's friendly match at Pavilions.

Town named a much changed squad with just four of Saturday's starting XI lining up for the kick off, with several triallists on show.

Cheshire were playing their first match under new manager Steve Lloyd, and were probably the best of the various representative sides we have played over the last few seasons.
