HOLKER STUN TOWN WITH LATE RALLY Runcorn Town suffered their first loss in the Vodkat League with two late goals for Holker Old Boys giving them a 3-2 victory at Pavilions.Warren Bellew had put Town ahead less than a minute into the game with an outside of the boot shot from 25-yards curling away from Ben Morsby into the corner of the net. After 18 minutes it was 2-0 with Jason Carey nipping in to convert Graham Capstick's attempted back pass for his fourth goal in the last three games. The Cumbrians pulled one back after 33 minutes from the penalty spot after Darren Kinsey was adjudged to have handled in the box by the assistant referee, with Chris Squirrell sending Karl Wills the wrong way. Holker then withstood a fierce onslaught from Town for much of the game with James McShane having a goal disallowed for offside and Marvin Molyneux rattling the crossbar. The game changed with 10 minutes remaining. First Greg Byrne was dismissed from the field for two yellow card offences, and with Town reeling, Holker grabbed an equaliser. Substitute Jon Newby found Brian Dawson on the right and he drilled in a low cross which Phil Coombe turned in from close range. A minute later it got worse when Danny Dalton attempted to head back to Wills from a clearance by Holker keeper Morsby, with Guy Heffernan getting in and flicking the ball past the keeper to score what proved an unlikely winner.
