MOND V CHEMICS VETS MATCH ON SUNDAY

Old rivalries will be renewed this Sunday with Mond Rangers taking on General Chemicals in the annual Vets match at Runcorn Town FC.

Honours were shared last year in a 3-3 thriller with Bobby Cooper (2) and Ged Jacques netting for Chemics and Paul "Compo" Howard, Andy Gott and Mark "Tazza" Cahill scoring for Mond.

Both teams will be looking to go one better this season and pick up the Vets Trophy.

Kick off is at noon, admission is free, and there will be a post match BBQ outside Pavilions for players and supporters to reminisce.
