TOWN POWER TO SECOND VICTORY
Runcorn Town made it a 100% start to life in Vodkat League Division One with a 4-0 home victory over fellow newcomers to the league AFC Darwen.

Town put in another dominant first half performance with all the goals coming in the opening 45 minutes, and had it not been for Darwen's MOM Adam Chester in goal, it could have been a lot more.

Emini Adegbenro opened his account for the season with a thunderous shot after 20 minutes which no goalkeeper would have stopped after Simon Burton appeared to be felled just inside the box.

Two minutes later the lead was doubled with Warren Bellew cutting in from the right hand side and beating two defenders before scoring at the second attempt after Chester had saved his initial effort.

The third came after 35 minutes through James McShane, who raced onto Bellew's through ball before slotting past Chester. And McShane made it four to become the league's early leading goalscorer with a header into the corner of the net from 15 yards from Darren Kinsey's cross.
