TOWN EXTEND UNBEATEN RUN

Runcorn Town made it two wins out of two with a 2-1 win over Marine Reserves at Pavilions.

Ryan Wade put Town ahead in the fifth minute when he headed in a corner from the left.

It took until the 58th minute for the second goal to arrive with Connor Taylor rising to head home a corner from the right hand side.

Marine ensured a tense last ten minutes when Joe Bloggs scored from close range after Dave Parkinson could only parry a cross shot.

However Town held on to make it six points out of six and move to the top of the league table for 48 hours at least.
