RESERVES HIT FIVE AGAINST HALE.
Town Reserves recorded their 1st win of the season beating newly elected Hale 5-1 at Pavilions last night.

Jack Stead put Hale ahead in the 2nd min when he curled the ball into the top corner from 18yds. Craig Beech levelled in the 23rd min. when he broke through the middle, then Reece Conlan broke clear stroking the ball past the keeper to put Town ahead in the 39th min. Hale hit the crossbar and had a header cleared off the line just before half time.

Craig Beech increased Town's lead in the 47th min. with a fierce shot, Danny Cummins proved an inspirational Captain in the centre of Town's midfield, hammering a shot against the underside of the bar then hitting a blistering drive that brought a good save out of the visitors keeper.

Man of the Match Kyle Mayers scored twice in the closing stages of the game to seal a well earned victory.
