TOWN AWAY DRAW IN FA VASE

Runcorn Town FC's debut match in the FA Carlsberg Vase will be an away game in the Second Qualifying Round of the competition after Town received a bye in the First Qualifying Round.

Town will travel to either Parkgate or Congleton Town on Saturday 18th September (3.00pm kick off) following the release of the first few rounds of the competition this lunchtime.

Parkgate, from Rotherham, play in the KoolSport Northern Counties East League and finished 14th in their Premier Division last season. Fellow Cheshire side Congleton play in the Vodkat North West Counties League and finished 5th last season.

Should Town emerge victorious in this match, they would also face an away game in the First Round Proper. This would be against another Vodkat North West Counties League club, and would be at either Atherton LR or Ashton Athletic on Saturday 2nd October.
