NEWS FROM THE AGM Tony Riley has been named the new Chairman of Runcorn Town FC following the resignation of Robbie Winrow at yesterday's club Annual General Meeting.Mr Winrow has led the club for the last eight years, including overseeing the change of name from Mond Rangers to Runcorn Town in 2005 and leading the club into the Vodkat League this summer. He is standing down as he feels he can no longer give the position his 100% commitment due to a number of factors including work commitments and a growing family, but will remain very much an active and valued member of the committee. The club placed on record their thanks to Mr Winrow, and have appointed him as a Life Member of the club. There were also four new committee members appointed at the meeting, and we would like to formally welcome on board Alan Bennett, Kenny Partington, Bob Toohey and Linda Young. In a committee meeting after the AGM, the following admission prices were set for our first season in the Vodkat League: Adults: £2.00 Concessions (Over 65's and Under 16's): £1.00 Under 16's accompanied by Adult: Free Free admission will remain for Reserve team fixtures. Season tickets will also be on sale from next Saturday. These will give entry to all home league games, and are set at the following prices: Adults: £30.00 Concessions (Over 65's and Under 16's): £15.00 This equates to a saving of four home games throughout the course of a season. If you are interested in obtaining a season ticket, please get in touch via the Contact Us page, or pop down the ground any Saturday afternoon.
