FRIENDLIES TAKING SHAPE

The close season is always slow for news, with Town preparing for next season by sorting out pre-season friendlies for both teams.

It is a little bit trickier organising friendlies this season compared to previous as we will not know until the middle of June what leagues both the First and Reserve team are in.

We are anticipating a start date for the First Team of 7th August, therefore pre-season training will start towards the end of June with the first friendly on 10th July. For the Reserves their season will start the following week, therefore their first friendly will by 17th July.

Friendles have been lined up away at Holyhead Hotspur for both teams on 17th July, with the Reserves kicking off at 12.30pm and the First Team at 3.00pm. The First Team will also be entertaining Colne on 24th July and a Newcastle Town XI on Tuesday 3rd August, with Newcastle splitting sides between ourselves and Runcorn Linnets who they face on the same night.

The Reserves will also be facing Tarporley Vics at home one midweek, with others in the pipeline which will be confirmed shortly.
