PRESENTATION NIGHT RESULTS Roy Roberts was named 2009/10 Clubman of the Year and received the coveted David Hinde Memorial Trophy at Runcorn Town's End of Season Presentation Night at Pavilions last night.David 'Beany' Hinde played for the club when we were in the Warrington Premier league, mainly as a right back, and serving the club faithfully for 15 years. The Young Player of the Year this season went to Warren Bellew, who also received the Carl Droughton Memorial Trophy. Carl was a promising 16 year old centre forward, coming through the youth team before representing the club in the South Wirral league. The Leading Goalscorer trophies went to Tony Wynne for the First Team and Aarron Stafford for the Reserves who scored 23 goals and 39 goals respectively. Bellew then picked up his second trophy of the night with the Most Appearances trophy, with Dave Jolley picking up the same trophy for the Reserves. Notably Jolley never missed a single game all season. The Manager's Player of the Year this season for the First Team went to Tony Wynne, who has performed magnificently in his first season at the club. For the Reserves, Paul Illidge was honoured. The Man of the Match awards is chosen by opposition teams who play Runcorn Town and is collated at the end of the season. This years winner for the First Team is Marvin Molyneux, with the Reserves winner being Rob Gorry. The final awards were for the Players Player of the Year which are extra special as it is recognition of performances throughout the season by your teammates. The First Team winner (to much surprise to him) was Karl Wills, with the Reserve Team winner Mark McGrath.
