Runcorn Town Reserves romped to their biggest win of the season with a 6-0 thrashing at Capenhurst Villa Reserves (the 14-0 was wiped out remember!).
Aarron Stafford was once again the prolific scorer by notching four to take him up to 40 goals for the season (although officially four of those have been knocked off due to Southport Trinity getting thrown out).
Simon Burton scored on his debut for the second string with the third goal of the game, with Jack Burbidge grabbing the fifth.
In other results, Hale beat Manor Athletic 2-1 which means that Town cannot now finish in a promotion position. They will finish third for the third season running if they beat Mersey Royal on Saturday, subject to the game being played and Prescot's appeal failing.
Mersey Royal's future is being discussed by the league on Thursday night as they failed to fulfil two fixtures recently against Hale and Town. Prescot appealed against Mossley Hill Athletic playing an unregistered player against them earlier this month, and if found guilty, that game will be replayed. A win for Prescot would see them finish above Town and achieve promotion at Richmond's expense.
