RESERVES KEEP UP PRESSURE ON HALE
Runcorn Town Reserves made it ten goals in a week as they kept up the pressure at the top of Division Three with a 6-0 victory over Ashville Reserves.

In a close game, Paul Illidge put Town ahead after 39 minutes by firing home James McShane's layoff.

Town upped the pressure in the second half and after a number of missed chances, Illidge doubles the lead in the 71st minute with a fine finish, with the floodgates then opening somewhat.

Dave Jolley makes it three after 75 from Mike Chesters pass, with Jack Burbidge making it four two minutes later from Danny Cummins ball.

Burbidge made it five after 78 from another Cummins through ball, before setting up Jolley for his second after 81 minutes.
