TOWN CRASH OUT OF PYKE CUP
A 90th minute winner from Keiron Fleetwood ensured West Kirby's progression into the Pyke Cup Semi Final's as the Wirral side kept up their astonishing unbeaten cup record this season.

Having already reached the Final in three competitions, West Kirby were on confident mood but fell behind after 13 minutes when Jason Carey gave Town the lead.

However two goals in two minutes from Kevin Bimpson (19) and Michael Burke (20) put West Kirby ahead and they comfortably saw out the first half.

Town were much better in the second half and it was no surprise when Carey equalised for Town in the 74th minute with a brilliant piece of individual skill, chipping visiting keeper Hogg from fully 30 yards to make it 2-2. However West Kirby's never say die attitude carried them through with Fleetwood winning it for West Kirby in the 90th minute.
