WEST KIRBY GAME OFF

The prospects of today's Pyke Cup Quarter Final against West Kirby being on is rated as 50/50 following overnight frost.

A pitch inspection at 9.30 showed snow and hail frozen on the pitch, but the sun is shining on it and it has thawed even in the last half hour.

A decision will be made at 12.00 today as to whether it goes ahead or not.

UPDATE

We are waiting for the match referee to arrive to assess whether the game will go ahead with a decision expected after 2.00pm.
