TOWN BACK TO WINNING WAYS
Runcorn Town's first home game for three months saw them return to winning ways with a 6-1 victory in the league against Blacon Youth Club.

If ever a game could sum up the phrase "game of two halves" this was it, with the first half largely forgetable after a couple of missed chances early on.

The second half was completely different with Simon Burton opening the scoring after 46 minutes and going on to complete his hat-trick six minutes later - surely a club record.

Tyson Eyo made it four with a stunning free kick into the top corner for his first goal for the club, with Tony Wynne making it five after good work from Danny Cummins.

Jon McEvoy completed the scoring by heading in Emini Adegbenro's cross.
