BUSY JANUARY FOR TOWN
Runcorn Town face a busy start to 2010 with seven games scheduled for January.

The month opens with three cup ties in three different competitions, the first being an away tie against current holders West Kirby in the Cheshire Amateur Cup on Saturday 2nd. Kick off is at 1.30pm with extra time played if neccessary.

On Tuesday 5th January Town will entertain Halton in the First Round of the Pyke Cup (7.30pm), before a home game against Roundhouse Rovers in the Runcorn Cup on Saturday 9th January (1.45pm).

There are then four home games on the run in the West Cheshire League, starting on Tuesday 12th January when Marine Reserves are the visitors (7.30pm). The following Saturday sees another tough game with current West Cheshire One leaders Heswall visiting (3.00pm), with Heswall no doubt keen to avenge their 4-0 loss earlier in the season.

Saturday 23rd is another big game as it is the derby match against Halton (3.00pm), with the month ending with a home game against Ellesmere Port on Saturday 30th (also 3.00pm).
